Your Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu (1,400m)

Day one of the trip is your arrival day in Kathmandu, Nepal. When you arrive at Kathmandu airport, We Trek Nepal representative will welcome you and transfer to hotel. It will take more or less 20 minutes to reach hotel depending upon traffic. We will let you know about our trip briefing schedule and other essentials on your arrival at the hotel. You stay relaxed and try to adjust with the new atmosphere as a traveller. We will talk about any questions you may have at our trip briefing meeting.

Day 2: Acclimatization and Exploration Day in Kathmandu (1,400m) - B

We are at the elevation of 1,400 meters from sea level. We will take this day as our acclimatization and preparation day before we head up towards the mountains. Instead of staying idle in hotel, we will take you for a wonderful day tour of Kathmandu valley. Exploring UNESCO’s cultural heritage sites in Kathmandu is the best way to know about historical, cultural and spiritual aspects of this 2 millennia old city. We will visit Swoyambhunath popularly known as the Monkey Temple that is oldest monument in Kathmandu valley, Kathmandu Durbar Square that is one of the medieval palace squares in Kathmandu valley, Boudhanath that is the largest Buddhist stupa and Pashupatinath that is a Hindu temple premises with open Hindu cremation platforms on the bank of River Bagmati.

Day 3: Chitwan (500m) – B.L.D

After a full day of exploring the cultural heritage monuments in Kathmandu valley, we will now leave the valley to go to Chitwan today. We will drive to Chitwan for about six hours on the highway along the River Trishuli and Marshyangdi, finally taking us to Sauraha – the border town to Chitwan National Park. The drive will bring us to the introduction of the lifestyle of Nepalese rural villages. Once we reach Chitwan, we will have the jungle safari activity schedule in our hand. We will follow the same schedule designed for us by our hotel in Chitwan.

Day 4: Jungle Safari Activities – B.L.D

It is our day to enjoy the fascinating jungle safari activities. The jungle in Chitwan will show us the wildlife and nature. We will have exciting activities like elephant safari, jungle walk, canoe ride, and elephant breeding center visit, and sunset by the riverside. On the jungle safari adventure, we will look for the wildlife. One horned rhinoceros, leopard, deer, crocodile, bear, bison, Bengal tiger and species of birds are the wildlife we will look for on our jungle adventure. We will also learn about the elephant breeding process while visiting elephant breeding center. A rich ethnic cultural show of Tharu people will also be showcased in the evening that will enlighten us about the lifestyle and culture of Tharu people living in the region.

Day 5: Lumbini (300m) – B.L.D

After enjoying the jungle safari activities in Chitwan, we will set out on a drive to Lumbini today. The destination is 107 kilometers west of Chitwan that will take us about 4 hours of drive to reach the place. Once we reach Lumbini, we will take the rest of the day at leisure. We can wander around the local town and explore the lifestyle and culture of the place.

Day 6: Lumbini Exploration – B.L.D

We will spend a full day visiting Lumbini. The huge area of Lumbini consists of Mayadevi Temple, monasteries, museum and many other wonderful and sacred sites. It will be a day full of spiritual exploration and awakening. Paying homage to the birth place of Buddha is really a wonderful experience. A leisurely exploration day at the birth place of Buddha gives us a wonderful spiritual experience.
