Your Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu (1,400m)

Day one of the trip is your arrival day in Kathmandu, Nepal. When you arrive at Kathmandu airport, We Trek Nepal representative will welcome you and transfer to hotel. It will take more or less 20 minutes to reach hotel depending upon traffic. We will let you know about our trip briefing schedule and other essentials on your arrival at the hotel. You stay relaxed and try to adjust with the new atmosphere as a traveller. We will talk about any questions you may have at our trip briefing meeting.

Day 2: Acclimatization and Exploration Day in Kathmandu (1,400m) -B

We are at the elevation of 1,400 meters from sea level and are going well above 5,000 meters on the trip. We will take this day as our acclimatization and preparation day before we head up towards the mountains. Instead of staying idle in hotel, we will take you for a wonderful day tour of Kathmandu valley. Exploring UNESCO’s cultural heritage sites in Kathmandu is the best way to know about historical, cultural and spiritual aspects of this 2 millennia old city. We will visit Swoyambhunath popularly known as the Monkey Templethat is oldest monument in Kathmandu valley, Kathmandu Durbar Squarethat is one of the medieval palace squares in Kathmandu valley, Boudhanaththat is the largest Buddhist stupa and Pashupatinaththat is a Hindu temple premises with open Hindu cremation platforms on the bank of River Bagmati.

Day 3: Pokhara (900m) – B

Now, it’s the turn to enjoy the serenity and majestic charm of the mountains, lake and peaceful town after a full day cultural exploration in Kathmandu. We will drive to Pokhara for about seven hours to indulge in the peaceful beauty of the lake city. We will reach the city in the afternoon leaving us with ample time to go for a peaceful boat ride on Lake Fewa. Later on, we will take a peaceful walk along the walking lane of the Lake shore. We will have a free and relaxing evening to spend wandering around the town and finding great dining places.

Day 4: Exploration Day in Pokhara – B

We will spend a full day today in Pokhara exploring the beautiful surroundings and enjoying some leisurely time. The exploration begins before the break of dawn to go for a sunrise tour to Sarangkot. It will take us about half hour to reach the beautiful hill station of Sarangkot that is famous for the view of Annapurna range and sunrise. We spend a lovely morning and enjoy the mountains and sunrise over them. Later, we drive back to Pokhara to relish our breakfast and enjoy a free time before the lunch. We may go for some extra and adventurous activities utilizing this time. Paragliding, bungee jumping, zip lining, ultra-light flight etc. are popular adventure activities in Pokhara. We can do it for an extra cost. The latter half of the day will show us Davis falls, Gupteshwor cave and also take us to World Peace Stupa for a sunset, mountain, lake and valley view.

Day 5: Kathmandu – B

After a lovely time and experience in Pokhara and its surroundings, we will drive back to Kathmandu today. Once we reach Kathmandu and check into hotel, we will have free time on our own. We can take time to wander and look around the streets at our own pace as we have nothing planned.

Day 6: Departure – B

We have come the final day of the Kathmandu PokharaTour and we hope that you enjoyed the adventure. Now, it’s the time to say a departing goodbye for this time with the hope to see you soon for next adventure. We will drive you to airport 3 hours before your flight schedule.
