On the second day of trek, we will wake up for a wonderful view of the mountains in the Annapurna. The Modi River valley will be fascinatingly beautiful. We start the trek with a descent towards Modi Khola. The downhill takes us to the river bank just to find ourselves on another adventure walk up the hill towards Ghandruk village. After crossing the river, we will walk on a fairly straight trail for a while and start on the uphill to Ghandruk. Ghandruk village will bring us another wonderful view of the mountains. We will also have time to explore the cultural wonders of this beautiful ethnic Gurung village.
It is another day of wonderful nature walk that the trip brings us at. We will mostly walk up the hill although we will have to traverse some downhill as well. Today is one of the highlights of the trip. We will hike to Poon Hill really early in the morning, much earlier before the break of dawn.
