The journey from Kathmandu to Pokhara takes about 6 hours, and upon arrival at Pokhara, we shall check into a hotel, which the city has an abundance of. From here, we shall take a short walk to Birethanti, a prosperous boom-town. The trail which we shall take follows the main street of Birethanti, going on through absolutely gorgeous bamboo forests and past large waterfalls glimmering with the ethereal light of the Sun, and swimming holes. Beyond this is the lush pasture bespeckled with foals and stallions mostly used for pulling wooden caravans and carts by people. The trail continues to Ranghai then, we shall climb gradually up the side of the valley, all the way to Tikhe Dhunga. Overnight at the guesthouse, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
From Tikhe Dhunga on the fourth day, the trail requires us to cross a stream by a suspension bridge near a camp site. We shall then ascend upwards, climbing the steep stone steps (about 3300 of them!) to the large Magar village of Ulleri at 2080 meter. We shall climb the elevation from Ulleri, passing dense pasturelands and continue on for an hour until we reach the camp site where we shall stop and have a breather and water.
